Welcome to Ramah Barmo State Farm Agency. We are located at 1251 Berlin Turnpike, Berlin, CT.

Being a first-generation Syrian-American and the daughter of a business owner, I learned from a young age the importance of integrity, honesty, and work ethics. My father instilled in me the entrepreneur mentality and the chase for independence to have the freedom, ability, and resources to help people through our skills and our business. Our Arab heritage and culture are very dear to my parents’ hearts and they insisted on teaching me Arabic since I came into this world. As wonderful as it was learning a difficult language and now calling myself bilingual, it was extremely difficult to have Arabic as a first language while surrounded mainly by English speakers.

I found my passion for insurance through having the ability to start a conversation, foster relationships, meet new people, and grow my community. I love that in each aspect of someone’s life, whether it’s buying their new home, finding love and getting married, or starting a family they’ll call me to protect what’s most important to them. State Farm's diverse organization has left me nothing short of grateful for this opportunity to give back to my Connecticut community. It is paving the path for success for first-generation, bilingual, women, like myself. It is an exhilarating privilege to be a role model for young Arab women in my community, and that is why I am honored to be their State Farm Agent.

My name is Morgan Alderman, and I am excited to get to know/help you out in the future. I was born and raised in Stamford, CT but recently moved up to Portland, CT to get married and settled down. I just recently entered the insurance world and can’t wait to see what this career has to offer! In my previous work experience I have thrived in this industry selling many different cars, buildings, and supplies. I have always enjoyed helping people understand what I have to offer them and now I can do that with insurance. My day-to-day tasks involve introducing myself to new customers, maintaining relationships with current customers and producing new ways to make our agency stand out from the crowd. When I am not at work, I love to spend time with my husband and three English bulldogs, I know, it’s a lot of wrinkles and rolls but they are full of love! If I could live anywhere in the world, it would honestly have to be in an RV so I can see every sunset, experience all the cultures and not be stationary. Hello! My name is Kyle Pyshna! I was born and raised in Naugatuck, CT! Currently I work in the medical-field as a Neurophysiologist (and previously as an ER Tech and Medical Scribe) so this has definitely been quite the career shift. My day-to-day includes utilizing my time out of my current job to help out my wife, Ramah Barmo at her office in Berlin during their business hours. I recently obtained my Producer Property & Casualty License so I’m here to quote you for your home insurance, auto insurance, renter’s insurance, and maybe even your business insurance. I might not be in every day, but my peers are always around to help you with anything you might need! During our free time, we like to travel and explore new places, whether that’s in our home state of Connecticut or around the world. However, we do enjoy downtime days at home with our two cats, Pumpkin and Shadow, check them out during their surprise appearances on our social media platforms!

I've been in the insurance world for a couple of months now and it's definitely been nothing short of interesting as each day is packed with high energy, enthusiasm, and meeting those goals. I come with financial analyst and cost management experience. The reason I love this job so much is because of the performance based compensation which pushes me to not only challenge myself, but create situations where I am not usually comfortable in. This allows me to break out of my shell and get the rest of the team involved. On my free time, I truly do enjoy work. On Saturday's I love scheduling business meetings with potential customers because I truly love meeting new people and getting to know not only them, but what drives them to be who they are today.
